Conferences

In 2106 VHP conducted 1st Norwegian National Hindu Conference. The conference theme was ´Contribution of Hindu civilization to Norway in the field of Economy, Education, Yoga, Ayurveda and meditation. Conference was joined by our counterparts from Sri Lankan, Nepalis and Buddhist community as well. Expert from the related field attended the conference and joined the panel discussions. Norwegian authorities also come forward and attended the conference. The conference is inaugurated by Mayor of Oslo Marianne Borgen.
The second conference was planned for 2020 but due to pandemic it has been postponed. If the pandemic will be over, we will organize the next conference in Aug-Sept/2022.
Apart from national conferences, VHP Norway delegates attends international conferences as well. Mainly the WHC i.e. World Hindu Congress which happens every 4th year and WHEC i.e. World Hindu Economic Forum which happens every year. We participated WHC in Bharat(New Delhi) and USA (Chicago). Conference started on Friday evening and ended on Sunday afternoon. . Approximately 2500 delegates attended the conference. In 2023 it will be in Bangkok.
