Weekly Activities
Hindi, Norwegian and Maths Classes:
One point is important to mention here, the students have to learn Hindi privately. VHP Norway is running Hindi school free of cost from more than 2 decades. Hundreds of students given Hindi exams and, almost all passed out with good grade. Students get points for Hindi.
In VHP Norway Hindi school, apart from learning Hindi children and youths also learn culture, presentation skills. Students play various games, participates in VHP Norway´s big programs (Holi, Diwali etc) as well as helps in organizing the activities.
We encourage diaspora to send their kids and youth to VHP Hindi classes. Hindi classes are conducted every Friday.
VHP conducts Norwegian classes twice in a week, Tuesday and Thursday. The classes are taking place in Groruddalen Skole. It is open to all.
In Groruddalen Skole, the student from class 8th standard to 10th standard goes for Math’s classes. A Math teacher from the same school helps them to overcome the problems related to the subject. All the students are very happy and satisfied.
Youth Group:
It is demand of the time to form a youth group especially the Indian youths from age 13 to 18. VHP premises open for them where they can gather once in a week. This activity has just been started and gradually taking its shape. The aim is to give responsibility to the youths to organize this activity in proper guidance with adults.
Every Wednesday a get together for adult: The aim is to gather and do some exercises, exchange views, discussions on pre-defined topics, play games etc
